Chipmunk sighting

Seen on March 5th, 2010
Two chipmunks were sighted on the same day.
After a long winter, one came out along the rock wall outside our kitchen window.
The second one came out along a rock wall on high hawk road.
Our cats really wanted to go out and catch a hungry chipmunk. But I would
have none of it.
Woodcocks are out; at least in Stonington.
